If you have a Lotus with high power output or if you use your car for frequent track action, robust head studs are highly recommended. ARP head studs are well known as very robust parts that can withstand highest loads. In addition, they stay intact if you have to remove the cylinder head for maintenance/revision (in contrast to the OEM screws that have to be renewed every time you remove the cylinder head), so the ARP head studs can be reused again and again.

For 2GR-FE V6 engines with power outputs of 450+ hp and for trackday- or race cars, the OEM-screws should be replaced by ARP head studs.
