Gearboxes of sporty driven cars are subject to higher wear and tear than those which due their duty in boring daily-drivers. In transmissions of sportscars with a higher mileage, shifting gears may become harder, single gears may scratch or the whole gearbox makes strange noises or cause unpleasant vibrations of the drivetrain-assembly.
If you note one or several of the symptoms described above, it's time to consider a gearbox revision. If you do such a major maintenance work in time, it's an inexpensive way to keep your gearbox alive and to prevent it from costly consequential damage or a total loss of the gearbox.
After receiving the gearbox unit, we open the housing and deep-clean all components to find out if/which internals have to be repaired or changed. After that, we send you detailed information of the status and a quote for the necessary replacement parts (the price stated here refers to the total cost of labor for the revision (disassembling, cleaning, diagnostics, re-assembling and testing) excluding parts (which can only be quoted after diagnostics).
We are (re-)building gearboxes for years. A professionally repaired gearbox can be a cost-effective alternative to replacing the whole transmission unit. While excuting the revision, well known weakspots can be permanentely fixed and the gearbox can be adapted on personal preferences.

- Revision will be executed by highly trained JUBU experts with long-term experience

- The stated price includes all labor time, but no components. After inspection we will send a detailed quote for (possibly) needed components

Scope of delivery/service
- Opening of gearbox, disassembling of components
- Deep cleaning of gearbox housing and internal components
- Inspection of all gears, synchro rings, synchronous clutches, bearings, shifting forks, etc.
- Diagnostics and documentation of given damage, submitting a quote for needed replacement parts
- Labor time for the full rebuilt of the gearbox (excl. necessary parts)
- New sealing of gearbox housing and exchange of all simmerings
Options
- Limited slip differential (LSD) with new shoulder bearings, incl. installation in gearbox-housing (Options: "Torsion Road & Track" or "Lamella ultimate Race")
- Inspection and diagnostics only (without repair)
