JUBU brake cooling rear axle Road, Track & Race

for Exige S3 | 3-Eleven

For a constantly high brake performance and for minimizing wear & tear at the braking system a proper cooling of its components is essential. In the OEM-spec the rear brakes of the Exige are not actively cooled at all. This is why they tend to get too hot early, even on sporty driving on roads. This leads to a lack of break performance (weak break pedal) and unnecessarily high wear & tear (burnt brake pads, fading on the discs). The Lotus DPM-System (Dynamic performance management) works well for stabilizing the rear axle by a frequent short-term engagement of the rear brakes, but it also makes the problem of thermal stress for the brakes worse.

The JUBU Brake cooling kit resolves this problem, because it ensures a constant flow of cooling air to the brakes so they keep cooler and can permanentely (even under high loads) work in their optimum temperature range. So the brake performance stays constantly high and the wear & tear is significantely lower.

Our kit has been developed via CAD and is manufactured precisely on our 3D-printers at JUBU HQ. It is really easy and without any further adaptations to install (can even be done by non-technicians). The kit was designed for Exige cars that are driven sporty on roads as well as non-frequently on tracks. For cars that are frequently and hard driven on trackdays or racing, we recommend to additionally install the JUBU AP Racing sport brake discs Exige rear (2-piece, floating).
