JUBU torque insulator upgrade kit
The JUBU torque insulator upgrade kit helps to minimise torque-dependent engine tipping. The original Lotus bearings installed at the factory are very soft, which causes the engine to tilt heavily during abrupt load changes (braking or acceleration) and causes noticeable rocking or pushing in the vehicle. The JUBU upgrade eliminates this unpleasant behaviour during load changes.
The JUBU torque bearing upgrade uses very high-quality rubber bearings. These are manufactured exclusively for us by a highly renowned rubber bearing manufacturer according to our specifications. Minimal vibrations can be felt in the cockpit. We have been using these bearings in our DCT conversions and Radford P62 drivetrain units for years. There has never been any negative feedback in terms of comfort or vibrations.

Note: You will need a hydraulic press to press out the original bearing and press in the new bearing!
