The OEM connecting rods of the 2GR-FE V6 engine are suitable for power outputs of up to 430 hp (race & track), respectively up to 460 hp (street). For implementing performances of more than 460 hp, upgraded steel rods are mandatory to ensure the durability of the engine (OEM connecting rods tend to bend/break at 460+ hp).

The JUBU reinforced steel rods 2GR-FE are especially designed and manufactured to be able to handle power outputs of up to 900 hp on the Toyota/Lotus 2GR-FE V6 engine (Twin-Turbo setup).
