Our dynamometer - for high-performance monsters
With our state-of-the-art AWD dynamometer (DynoJet 424xLC2) we can precisely measure power outputs of up to 2000 hp per drum (up to 1200 hp per drum with engaged link-system) at speeds of up to 320kph. This dyno is an important factor for developing and carefully testing our tuning-solutions.
Our dyno is an AWD single roller dynamometer, this means that the wheels of the car are on top of the barrel (not between 2 barrels as with other systems) during the run. This leads - in combination with the riffeld surface and the heavy weight of the barrels (2 tons per barrel) - to a very accurate performance measurement - even with very lightweight cars like Lotus or Caterham. The dyno is also equipped with a linkx system, which mechanically links the barrels of our 424xLC2 dyno to eliminate potential speed differentials between dyno rollers.
Besides the accurate measurement of power and torque, we can read all OBDII-data in real-time directly from the vehicle's ECU. In addition we can measure, check and record the following data:
- Lambda-data via probe or hose
- Exhaust gas temperature (8 sensors)
- Pressure of liquids (oil-pressure, fuel-pressure, etc.)
- Boost pressure
- Ambient temperature and intake air temperature
- Ambient air pressure
- etc.
Free slots of dyno-time can also be used by external users to do personal dyno runs or to rent the whole dyno (all brands).
